Meet Your Child’s Therapist:
Mary has been working with children using Play Therapy since 1993. She is a Registered Play Therapist/ Supervisor since 2000. Mary has a wealth of experience working with very young children in military child development centers as well as in private practice. She uses a Child Centered Play Therapy approach. Children also have access to Sand Play and Sand Tray Therapy where they have the opportunity to tell their story in ways that feel safe and contained. Mary works with parents to help them understand the meaning behind their children’s behaviors and coaches them on effective ways to communicate with and regulate with their children. She uses the latest neuroscience research to help parents make lasting connections with their children which leads to improved relationships and functioning.
